God Is Our Refuge
I wonder what atheists do when they are faced with a serious crisis or problem. Who do they call upon for help?
I cannot imagine getting through a day without God’s help and love....
Everyone has problems and there are times when we may feel that there is no one cares about us or our problems. But it is nice to know that God cares and loves us, and He is only a prayer away.

Yayyyyy .... finally .... I see some inspiration here ... I have been waiting for 10 days .. That's right ... 10 long days ... I start to wonder where are you all ... and what you all are doing ...
Me? I have been practiced hard for driving test since Monday .... I can't imagine driving in the road without God's protection ....lol ...
I tried a few time to update some pictures in iParent blog … and I lost them continually … it drove me crazy really ….but I will try again tonight …. lol lol ….Good thing out of these disasters is perhaps I could spend more time to look at our SS teachers and children over and over as I loosing their pictures in my screen … Then out of sudden … I feel overwhelmed by their devotions and willing heart to serve His little ones … I once saved by my SS teachers’ love and care …. And so does our children ….
I hope everyone is doing fine …. If you are not … I hope you to remember … someone is praying for you ….
By the way …. Saya Lone Wah and Sayama Aye Aye Thaw just met Oakland congress board members yesterday …. They all impressed by your live testimonies and inspiration stories from our blogs in OBMBC. Knowingly and unknowingly we are reaching out to the people in the world … May God continually use you all such a way to serve Him till our very last breath …. Aza Aza Fighting to YAF 4 Chrsit!!!
Well, if you're genuinely curious about how atheists confront crisis:
I of course won't try to speak on the behalf of all atheists (individuals vary far too much for that--despite our tendencies to label and clump into general demographics), but I get through the tough moments of a day by realizing that I have myself and my peers to rely on. I don't feel any need to seek a higher power when I have to deal with complications.
I'll hold myself accountable for some issues that I have control over, and try to come up better alternatives. Conversely, I try not to dwell too much on events that I have no control over. The world can be pretty cruel sometimes, so I try to maintain more realistic expectations about the cards that I'll be dealt.
I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that I was skeptical about religion in general at a young age, and thus I've become conditioned to function without it. It's difficult to imagine suddenly doing away with a primary means of support--but bear in mind that my beliefs (or lack of) have been formed gradually over time, and that they'll still continue to evolve in the coming years.
